Finally Updating!!!

Well miss Lynnlee is here!!! She graced us with her presence on October 24th at 8:11pm. She weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 21.5 inches. She is absolutely perfect.

She is now five weeks old and doing amazing. Her big sisters Alaina and Ellie absolutely adore her!!!!
She is starting to hold her head up and smile. She's becoming more vocal and staying awake longer during the day to take in her environment.

We spent the Wednesday before Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family and Thanksgiving with my dads side. Lynnlee met her Uncles Brandon and Joey on thanksgiving.

It's amazing how much this tiny little girl is loved! She keeps growing and is amazing me more and more. I can't write everything or I would be sitting here all day!

Catch Up.

We are getting closer!!!! As of today we have two and a half weeks left before we meet her for sure!

We were hoping to get to meet her earlier at 34 weeks she was estimating weight around 7 pounds 2 ounces. Doctor was going to try and induce us on the 10th but after the last doctors visit Monday my blood pressure is too good for an early induction.

Ellie, Alaina, and I spent a weekend finishing cleaning the nursery and then decorating the walls with dragonfly, butterfly, ladybugs, and flower decals. Daddy decided to redo the crib but it is finished. Mommy picked the wrong curtain rod for one of the windows and we have to get a new one before the last curtain can be hung and the nursery completely finished.

We had the first baby shower on Sept 24th in Newton hosted by two of my best friends Jasmin and Bree. It was amazing!

We have another baby shower this weekend in Salina hosted by another of my best friends Bj and Lynnlee's older sisters Ellie and Alaina. The girls are very excited to be helping with their baby sisters shower!

We are now at weekly doctors appointments until Lynnlee is here!

Doctor Visit

Lynnlee and I had our 27/28 week check up. Heart rate was 150, my belly is measuring 28 weeks. We had to do a one hour glucose and enjoyed the orange flavor which made Lynnlee start dancing... I think it was a big sugar rush because she has been sleeping since 3. And got some good news as long as everything stays great like it has been we will schedule to induce on the 24th of Oct as long as everything is ready. If not we will try again the 26th... So if Lynnlee decides to stay on schedule we will get to meet her after Oct 24th!!!!!

Catch up post

Well starting the blog to keep everyone in touch as much as possible and I stole this idea from my dear friend Bree Rowe who had her little boy in June.
I will try to update starting with a monthly update here.
March weeks 6-10- Chuck and I found out we were expecting March 7 after going to the doctor... Big surprise when you are going for other symptoms... they estimated at first that we were due 10/31, two days after we had set the wedding date. Had our first ultrasound March 16 and the ultrasound showed due date of 10/26. I started working on a baby blanket. Our little nugget!!!!!

April weeks 11-14- We enjoyed the crazy Kansas weather and I enjoyed the disappearing morning sickness and food aversions. It was getting really annoying craving bacon and eggs and getting sick from eating them. We welcomed a niece into the family on the 5th, Miss Peyton Johnson was born to Chucks brother and sister in law. Chuck and I got married April 22 at our home with the family that could be there.

May weeks 15-18- We switched doctors. After meeting her we both were more comfortable and happy. Had to do a one hour glucose test, yuck... had the orange flavor. it's not that bad if you like uncarbonated oragne soda. No diabetes so far!!!!

June weeks 19-23- Ultrasound on June 15th showed that our little Nugget is a girl!!!!!! Daddy and I were thinking a little boy because I had none of the "typical" girl symptoms. We went out and bought a pink baby book and her first onesie a pink monkey with little monkey booties on it.

July weeks 24-27- not a whole lot besides getting bigger!
24 Weeks

26 weeks
